Whilst you don't have to be based in Devon (we have clients all over the world), it's good to think that your web developer is local, and from my side it's nice to know that the clients for whom I website design are near me. When I design a new website, sometimes a client will know exactly what they want... those sites are (usually) easy, although sometimes I have to make recommendations a client doesn't like.

Most of the time, however, I find that clients haven't really thought in depth about the design of their website - more that they know they should have a website and the bog-standard Home - About - Services - Contact 'one-size-fits-all' configuration will be fine. Well, bad news, it's not! This is the exact reason I don't use standard Wix website templates. I do use Wix templates, but by the time I have completed a design, you would never know.

Each business should have its own vibe - whether that is professional, laid-back, sales-y, informative, whatever - and this should always reflect in the design. Most of the time I pick up on this from speaking with a client about their requirements. Sometimes (very rarely), I get it wrong. No bother, Wix makes it easy to redesign a site, change a colour scheme, reorganise pages, etc.

This also means that each Wix website I design is individual.
